The Open Road
Two wheels, an open throttle, and the world melts away. Motorcycling is where I find my balance — equal parts thrill and meditation.
Stress Relief on Two Wheels
There is something deeply therapeutic about riding. The moment the engine rumbles to life and the road unfolds ahead, every stressor from the work week simply evaporates. The need to stay present — monitoring road conditions, scanning for hazards, threading corners — forces the mind into a state of complete focus, a moving meditation.
After a long week of staring at screens and wrestling with code, nothing recharges the spirit quite like the wind, the rumble, and the freedom of an open highway. Riding is my reset button.
The Twisties of Shillong
The road from Guwahati to Shillong is one of the finest riding roads in Northeast India. As the landscape rises from the Brahmaputra plains into the mist-draped Khasi hills, every kilometre brings tighter corners, cooler air, and more spectacular views. The twisties near Shillong demand full attention and reward it generously.
Carving through those bends, leaning into each curve with the valley dropping away on one side and pine forests towering on the other, reminds me why I fell in love with riding in the first place. It is pure, unfiltered joy.
Every Ride Tells a Story
From the humid plains of Guwahati to the cool, cloud-kissed curves above Shillong — each ride is a chapter. The road does not judge, does not rush, and never runs out of new things to show you. See you out there.
